I had a terrific experience here. Dr. Luria is very knowledgeable, professional and a great communicator. I came in for a general eye health checkup to make sure my recent migraines weren't eye related, and I was really pleased that Eye Q has a machine that allows a 3d imagine of your eye to be taken, without any need for dilation (my most hated aspect of all eye exams, haha). I wouldn't hesitate to come back here and will be recommending this location to my friends and colleagues.

Celebrating 25 years this year, Eye Q is a great spot for an eye exam! Dr. Luria was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain every step of the exam. I was in and out with no delay, a clean bill of health and a new prescription! They’re currently running a great promo on frames due to their 25th anniversary. Definitely recommend!

I have been one of Dr. Luria's patients since 2017 and having my vision checked is actually one of my favorite things to do because not only is Dr. Luria super knowledgable, he's also personable and gets to his patients. I *also* love selecting new frames - thanks to their awesome selection. I wear progressives and absolutely need eyeglasses to navigate the world. As a costume designer and creative entrepreneur, it's important to me that my frames reflect my artistic interests and learning about the craftsmanship of each pair of frames has really made me value them even more. Over the years the team at Eye Q Optical have helped me pick out frames, they know what size and shape I'm most likely going to gravitate to and they suggest new shapes and colors I may not have considered. I took a photo of all seven of the frames I've invested in - two of them have polarized lenses so I can enjoy the sunniest days and still see. People always compliment me on my frames and I'm happy to share that they, too, can find the best frames locally!

Friendly and thorough, everything from reservation to confirmation call was perfect. Lots of great glasses. I will definitely visit again next time and Dr. Lesoltis was very helpful and answered with great information.

I switched to this location after having multiple bad experiences at a different company in Cambridge. The place is small, but the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly and I was in and out of my appointment in under 30 minutes. I appreciated the honesty from the doctor and they made some great recommendations for my dry eye issues (which have greatly improved!). I felt seen (excuse the pun) and will be returning for my yearly exams.

I had a wonderful experience at Eye Q. I needed help picking glass frames that worked for my face and received exactly the help I needed. The person there had great patience and good suggestions. The glasses were ready when promised.

This place is great. The people here are so helpful. They are my primary eye care, but I just stopped by on a run due to a problem with my eye. They were able to fit me in on a Saturday, amazing, and so glad I stopped as I had a serious eye infection and did not really know it. So helpful.

Friendly and helpful staff. Fun selection of frames. Great doctors. They adjusted my old glasses when I went in for an exam. They helped me pick out fun frames. And the eye exam was very thorough.

Doctor Nguyen was very professional and diligent. I was treated very well and I really liked the way they did not try to oversell and just focussed on doing the eye exam and giving me any information that j needed.

Dr. Luria noticed a tear in my retina and sent me for emergency care. Thank goodness he did. I needed emergency surgery. He was kind enough to text and ask how I made out. Thoughtful, efficient, and very knowledgeable- five stars from me!

I have been going to Eye Q Optical for 20 years. I always find the perfect frames and the glasses are always excellent. Ask their experts to help you find the right frames, they are great!

The staff at the Jamaica Plain location is amazing!!! My bf Gucci glasses screws came off and Nick was able to fix it and quick! I’m so grateful and would definitely recommend them for your glasses needs and repair!!! Excellent service

Incredible service and great frames. I had a pair of glasses that lost a screw, walked in, and the guy, I missed his name, Immediately stopped what he was working on to help fix them. Took about 5 minutes, and I was expecting to have to leave them. Super friendly staff, and they didn’t ask for any money for the fix. I just got a new pair at Warby Parker, but with service like this, I’ll be back for my next pair. Amazing

My eyeglasses were broken, like the thread used for the rimless glasses. It isn't easy to adjust those as I visited a few shops, many saying it would take 2 to 3 days, but they did it within 30 minutes without charge. The people in front, Jay and Laure were really helpful. I was thinking about getting a new pairs so they explained my options really well to me

Loved it! Two men at the front were very welcoming. They helped me pick up a pair of frames that suited my face. One of the men was very diligent in making sure that I was paying for the most cost-effective plan. Dr. Lu was very friendly, thorough, and prompt. She made sure to explain all the machines she used for my eye exam. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Nothing to complain about.

Nick was so so kind and helpful! Fixed 2 pairs of my glasses, and I also witnessed him expertly deal with some confusion due to the shop’s ownership changing. He was gracious and honest with everyone. Would absolutely come back here!

We needed an emergency repair job on a pair of glasses – the screws were stripped out. They were able to get us all set up. Amazing people and we will be coming back when we need our regular frames. Thank you!

I came for a nose pad issue and Eye-Q Optical fixed them and cleaned my glasses (which were in dire need of a cleaning)!! My glasses are more comfortable than they were before. Everyone was very friendly. Thank you!
